In my never ending quest to acquire points in We Rule, have a decent looking kingdom and look at others lands, I have added 3 pages of friends. I buy from them. They buy from me. All is good.
Until . . . I discovered . . . there is a limit. :-(
It seems to be around 20. After I buy from 20 friends, I noticed that no additional Open signs appear. Even though I know there are more.

UPDATE:
There is a maximum of 35 orders AND purchases. So, if you have accepted 1 order, you can buy from 34 friends. Or, if you accept 20 orders, you can then only buy from 15 friends.
